Role Description
We are seeking an Advanced Photodetector Engineer specializing in IR, and CNT technologies to join our team in Viladecans. This is a full-time, on-site role that involves designing, developing, prototyping and integrating novel photodetector systems. Daily responsibilities include research and development, testing characterization, and validation, innovating, documenting results and collaborating with cross-functional teams. The role also involves active participation in innovation initiatives to solve complex engineering challenges in the field of photodetection and advanced sensors, supporting the evolution of IDEADED’s advanced electronics and sensing capabilities.
Qualifications
- Strong background in photodetector technologies, optoelectronics, semiconductor devices, or nanomaterials.
- Experience in design, simulation, fabrication, and characterization of photodetectors or sensor devices, including laboratory validation and measurement techniques.
- Demonstrated ability to innovate and make connections between the point of view of materials science, device physics, and system-level applications.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and a creative mindset for developing novel sensing solutions under performance, reliability, and integration constraints.
