Reporting to the Finance Director, you will partner closely with the Finance Director and the Senior Accountant on month-end close, the year-end audit, and the IFRS transition for 2026.

- Support the rollout of IFRS reporting alongside PGC books, including chart-of-accounts mapping and IFRS 16, IFRS 15, and IFRS 9 treatments.
- Prepare statutory financial statements (PGC) and assist with subsidiaries' filings
Tax and Compliance
- Operate SII (Suministro Inmediato de Información) for real-time VAT reporting with Agencia Tributaria.
- Support the calculation of Corporate Income Tax (Modelo 200), VAT (Modelos 303), withholding taxes (Modelos 111 y 216), Intrastat and R&D tax deductions.
- Coordinate with the external tax advisor on monthly, quarterly filings and year-end provisions.
- Maintain documentation supporting transfer pricing and public-grant accounting.
Digital Tools and Automation
- Use AI tools, including a corporate Claude account, to automate recurring activities (data entry, reconciliations, document classification, narrative generation).
- Contribute to the design and continuous improvement of digital workflows across procurement, invoice approvals, and reporting.
- Help digitize and standardize accounting documentation, templates, and policies.
Onboarding Period (initial weeks only)
- During the initial onboarding period, you may support light treasury tasks (bank reconciliations, payment runs) until the Treasurer joins, after which the focus shifts fully to accounting.
