Launchpad Build International is a fast-moving, global company with operations spanning the UK and US. We move fast, we build things that matter, and we need financial people who can keep up. We're looking for a sharp, detail-oriented accountant who can own our day-to-day bookkeeping while also rolling up their sleeves on more complex, high-impact work — including international grant reporting and multi-entity accounting.

What You'll Do:
- Categorize and code transactions accurately across multiple entities and currencies
- Perform monthly bank reconciliations and flag discrepancies for resolution
- Support special projects tied to international grants — including tracking allowable expenditures, preparing schedules, and assisting with reporting requirements
- Maintain clean, audit-ready books at all times
- Collaborate with leadership and external accountants on filings, forecasts, and ad hoc financial analysis
- Help develop and improve internal accounting processes as we scale
What We're Looking For:
- 2+ years of bookkeeping or accounting experience (public or private)
- Solid working knowledge of QuickBooks Online or similar accounting software
- Strong attention to detail — you catch things others miss
- Comfortable working independently and managing your own time in a part-time, hybrid setup
- Good communicator — you can explain a reconciling item without making it complicated
- Local to the El Segundo / South Bay area preferred (some in-person time expected)
Bonus Points:
- Experience with international or multi-entity accounting (intercompany transactions, foreign currency)
- Background in grant accounting or government-funded project reporting
- Inventory accounting experience
- Exposure to UK GAAP, VAT, or HMRC filing processes
- CPA, CPA candidate, or equivalent qualification
