This is a fixed-term contract role for a period of one (1) year.

Role Overview

We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Accountant to support accurate financial reporting, regulatory compliance, and the smooth execution of daily accounting operations.

This role plays a key part in budgeting, performance tracking, cash flow management, and cost control, while contributing to continuous improvement initiatives within the finance function in Singapore. The position requires close collaboration with the Sri Lanka-based finance team.

Key Responsibilities

Prepare monthly financial statements, management accounts, cash flow statements, and profit & loss (P&L) reports

Support annual statutory audits and ensure timely completion

Maintain accounting systems with accurate and authorized transaction recording

Manage accounts receivable, debtor ageing, and customer statements

Proactively follow up on overdue receivables to maintain healthy cash flow

Process supplier payments accurately and in line with internal controls and approval limits

Perform bank reconciliations and liaise with banks on operational matters

Support daily treasury activities, including cash flow monitoring and payment controls

Prepare and analyse Management Information System (MIS) and management reports

Assist in budgeting processes and conduct variance analysis

Ensure compliance with Singapore regulatory and tax requirements

Prepare and submit GST returns accurately and on time

Key Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or Banking

Professional qualification (ACCA / ISCA) is preferred

Minimum of 5 years’ post-qualification experience in a similar role

Strong ERP experience is essential; experience with Acumatica is an added advantage

Hands-on experience in treasury operations, collections, and payment processing

Eligibility to work in Singapore (Singapore Citizens or Permanent Residents)

Working Hours

Flexibility is required, including the ability to work additional hours when necessary to meet business, operational, or reporting deadlines
