We are looking for a highly analytical, detail-obsessed Accountant & Data Analyst who can own appointment revenue accuracy, charging integrity, and financial performance reporting.

🔎 Role Overview

This is a hybrid accounting + analytics role focused on:

• Auditing appointment revenue
• Ensuring 100% charging accuracy
• Copay validation
• Revenue reconciliation
• Weekly executive reporting
• Identifying financial leakage

You will work closely with Billing, RevOps, Operations, and Leadership.

🎯 Key Responsibilities1️⃣ Appointment Revenue Audit

• Analyze all completed appointments daily
• Ensure every session is properly charged
• Reconcile scheduled vs completed vs billed sessions
• Identify missed charges or under-charges
• Audit insurance vs self-pay discrepancies

2️⃣ Copay & Insurance Audit

• Validate copay collection accuracy
• Identify copay under-collection
• Review insurance reimbursements vs contracted rates
• Flag CPT code inconsistencies
• Monitor denial patterns

3️⃣ Financial Reconciliation

• Reconcile:
• Appointment count
• Charges
• Copay collected
• Insurance payments
• Identify revenue leakage
• Track write-offs and adjustments

4️⃣ Data Analysis & Reporting

• Build weekly executive dashboards
• Present:
• Appointment volume trends
• Revenue per appointment
• Copay accuracy rate
• Insurance reimbursement analysis
• Revenue leakage findings
• Deliver clear weekly presentation to leadership

5️⃣ Process Improvement

• Identify billing inefficiencies
• Improve charging workflows
• Recommend automation opportunities
• Strengthen financial controls

🧠 Ideal Candidate

• 3+ years accounting or revenue cycle experience
• Experience auditing high-volume transaction environments (500+ daily charges preferred)
• Strong Excel / Google Sheets (advanced formulas required)
• Experience with healthcare billing (CPT codes, insurance payments, copays) highly preferred
• Strong presentation skills (must present weekly to leadership)
• Extreme attention to detail
• Analytical thinker who challenges numbers
• Comfortable working with large datasets
