We’re entering the next phase of scale and seeking a high performing dynamic Account Manager to join our US sales team. Your primary mission is to work collaboratively with our insurance partners—both brokers and carriers—to successfully deploy SoterAI's technology across their policyholder base. You'll position our platform as a strategic risk management tool that helps carriers reduce claims frequency and severity, enables brokers to differentiate their value proposition, and provides policyholders with proactive safety solutions that protect their people and operations.
Key Responsibilities
· Manage and grow strategic relationships with insurance carriers and brokers
· Enable insurance partners to deliver transformative workplace safety solutions to their policyholders, positioning SoterAI as a competitive differentiator that drives policyholder loyalty and loss control (while also driving transformation within each insurance partner.)
· Identify and execute upsell and cross-sell opportunities across partner portfolios
· Develop customized account plans to expand partnership revenue
· Build executive-level relationships with underwriters, risk managers, and C-suite decision-makers
· Present ROI analyses and business cases demonstrating claims reduction and loss ratio improvement
· Collaborate with sales, product, and customer success teams
· Attend industry conferences and partner meetings (10-20% travel)
· Provide market feedback to inform product development
· Maintain accurate pipeline forecasting and CRM records
· Consistently exceed quarterly and annual revenue targets
Required Qualifications
· 5+ years of experience as an insurance producer at a reputable broker or carrier or expertise selling software to the insurance sector.
· Proven track record of consistently exceeding sales targets (top 10-20% performer)
· Deep understanding of commercial insurance products, underwriting, and risk management
· Strong relationship-building skills with C-level executives
· Excellent presentation and communication abilities
· Strategic thinking and business acumen
· Self-motivated with ability to work independently in remote environment
· Proficiency with CRM systems
· Bachelor's degree preferred
Preferred Qualifications
· Experience with workers' compensation, general liability, and property insurance
· Knowledge of workplace safety, OSHA regulations, or loss control
· Familiarity with SaaS or insurtech solutions
· Existing relationships with insurance carriers or national brokers
· Active insurance license (P&C, Life & Health)
· Consultative, solution-based selling experience
