Women in Life Science Denmark
Women in Life Science Denmark (WiLD) is a professional network for women in the Danish Life Science industry, targeting executives, directors, specialists, and top scientists in both corporate and academic sectors. Established to support value creation by promoting diversity and talent at senior levels, WiLD aims to be an inspiring, science-centric forum. Key activities include annual networking meetings, a 12-month mentor program launched in November 2023 (financed by a grant from the Lundbeck Foundation), and an expert panel to increase the visibility of female experts. WiLD also facilitates peer-to-peer networks, with five groups launched in March 2024 focusing on topics like Women's Health and AI & Digital Transformation. The network actively engages in discussions and advocacy for gender diversity in STEM and leadership roles within life sciences.
