WiseMed is a health tech startup leveraging artificial intelligence to optimise hospital operations in Latin America. Our mission is to transform public healthcare efficiency through intelligent coordination tools that reduce administrative burdens and improve patient outcomes. We build modular software solutions that support clinical teams in real-time decision-making, with an initial focus on hospital bed management and surgical scheduling. Our flagship product, BedWise, is an AI-powered bed coordination system already in pilot at the largest emergency hospital in Chile. It enables hospitals to reduce bed turnaround times, enhance patient flow, and free up critical staff time to maximise capacity. Our second product, QxWise, focuses on optimising surgical scheduling with predictive analytics and help patients prep for surgery reducing no-shows. WiseMed is founded by a multidisciplinary team with expertise in clinical operations, App development, AI, and health system strategy. By targeting hospitals with at least 80 beds, we aim to build a scalable SaaS model that creates regional network effects, supporting hospital systems across Latin America. We’ve secured early public funding via Start-Up Chile, have been selected by UDD Ventures, and are actively forming institutional partnerships as we expand our impact.
