The Data Oath
The Data Oath offers a clear, non-technical framework for building ethically governed AI. It defines five Foundations for Ethical AI: Inclusive, Equitable, Transparent and Explainable, Improves Quality of Life, and Accessible and Contestable. The approach is a governance framework and set of standards designed for use by companies and governments, i.e., B2B and B2G contexts. The Foundations are provided for free to use with attribution and without licensing barriers. The Data Oath aims to shape industry dialogue and establish a baseline for ethical AI as adoption scales.
