Precision Medicine Lab
Precision Medicine Lab is a non-profit interdisciplinary research institute based in Peshawar, Pakistan, focused on leveraging advanced biological sciences and computational tools to address pressing health and biomedical challenges. It operates a state-of-the-art central laboratory supporting microbiology, molecular biology, genomics, biochemistry, and human cell culture, alongside a GPU-enabled bioinformatics and machine learning workstation. The Lab is affiliated with the National Centre for Big Data and Cloud Computing and funded by the Federal Government of Pakistan. It emphasizes home-grown, world-class science with interdisciplinary collaboration and education, including launching Pakistan's first Master's program in Data Science with a specialization in Biomedicine. The Lab has a strong community and alumni network contributing globally to science and innovation.
