Giving Tech Labs was an innovation lab focused on creating technology startups addressing urgent social problems through financially sustainable models. Over five years, it created five tech startups with four exits, impacting hundreds of thousands of individuals. Key ventures included Giving Compass, a philanthropy impact portal with over 250,000 monthly users; VidaNyx, a leading US cloud solution for digital evidence with over 70,000 users in 13,000 agencies; E-Immigrate, an immigration portal for low-income individuals; and X4Impact, an insights platform for foundations and impact investors generating $2.5M revenue before exit. The lab also ran an AI fellowship program producing research in AI for public interest. Giving Tech Labs partnered with organizations like the Raikes Foundation and served clients including the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation and Equal Opportunity Schools. The lab closed operations in 2022, leaving lasting social impact assets.
