Eagle Vision Systems provides CartSeeker, a system that automates curbside waste collection by using AI-based vision recognition to locate and identify waste carts. The solution combines computer vision algorithms and onboard control software to replace joystick operation and can be retrofitted onto existing collection trucks or supplied with OEM equipment. It is deployed as a hardware-plus-software product for municipalities and waste-hauling fleets and was developed in collaboration with the City of Guelph.
