CoE RAISE
CoE RAISE is a European Center of Excellence focused on developing advanced Artificial Intelligence (AI) technologies for complex applications, particularly those running on future Exascale systems. They aim to innovate AI methods on heterogeneous High-Performance Computing (HPC) architectures, scaling towards Exascale. CoE RAISE facilitates technology transfer to industry, SMEs, and academia by providing training, education, and support. They establish a European network offering access to infrastructure and knowledge, consulting, and services to user communities with less developed expertise in AI and HPC. The project connects with existing European initiatives to leverage synergies and avoid redundancy. Their work involves developing and generalizing AI methods based on representative use cases from engineering and natural sciences, integrating them into a Unique AI Framework (UAIF). Funding is provided by the European Commission under the Horizon 2020 Framework Programme.
