CARE-AI
CARE-AI is a research center that advances responsible AI through multidisciplinary research and training. It combines ethics, governance, and social responsibility with technical AI leadership across AI methodologies, applications, and responsibility, engaging over 90 researchers and collaborating with industry and academic partners. Key technologies include machine learning, deep learning, neural networks, data analytics, sensors, robots, convolutional neural networks, and generative adversarial networks. The center operates at the University of Guelph and partners with industry and other institutions to apply AI to human and animal health, environmental sciences, agriculture, agri-food, business, insurance, and the bio-economy. It supports affiliated programs like the Collaborative Specialization in Artificial Intelligence and pursues partnerships that advance responsible AI research and education.
