
ASYST Lab conducts research to improve safety and resilience in aerospace and transportation. Led by Dr. Neelakshi Majumdar, the lab combines aerospace systems engineering, data science, machine learning, MATLAB, and C++ with human factors. It studies aerospace systems engineering, human factors in aviation, next-generation transportation such as Advanced Air Mobility, and aviation safety analysis. The team uses empirical analysis and high-fidelity simulations to produce actionable insights for safer systems.
