
AiPBAND is a Marie Skłodowska-Curie Actions Innovative Training Network focused on developing early diagnosis techniques for brain tumors (gliomas) using molecular biomarkers in blood. The project trains early-stage researchers (ESRs) in fields including neuroscience, engineering, big data science, healthcare, and economics. It aims to identify biomarkers, design multiplex biosensors (plasmonic-based, graphene-based, digital ELISA), develop a big data-empowered management infrastructure, and create cloud-based diagnostic systems, with proof-of-concept validated through clinical trials. The project involves 14 fellows trained by 9 academic and 3 non-academic beneficiaries across 5 EU member states and 6 partner organizations, with a strong emphasis on entrepreneurship and innovation.
