
AI4CCAM is a European project developing trustworthy AI methods and tools for connected, cooperative, and automated mobility (CCAM). The project brings together 14 partners, including research organizations, SMEs, a large company, and user associations. AI4CCAM focuses on creating an open environment for integrating trustworthy AI models for anticipating vulnerable road user behavior in urban traffic, enhancing road safety, and improving user acceptance. Key objectives include developing a digital framework for AI in CCAM, defining ethical, social, and cultural implications, designing advanced AI models for situation awareness and trajectory prediction, and conducting use case implementations.
