AGIMUS is an open-source project focused on delivering breakthrough innovations in AI-powered agile production. It aims to enable general-purpose robots to be quickly set up, autonomous, and adaptable to manufacturing process changes. The project pushes the limits of perception, planning, and control in robotics by leveraging advanced AI techniques, including online learning from video demonstrations, reinforcement learning with differentiable physics simulations, and advanced perception algorithms for unseen objects and situations. AGIMUS also focuses on optimizing energy efficiency and utilizing 5G technology to enhance robot autonomy. The project's solutions are demonstrated and tested in real-world scenarios through three testing zones and three industrial pilots across Europe.
