Agade is an innovative startup and spin-off of Politecnico di Milano university, born from a research project on the development of a new generation of wearable robots, initially designed for biomedical applications. Empowering people through human-tailored robotics is the core of our mission. We want to be a protagonist of change, revolutionizing the way to work and the scenario of human-machine interaction. Agadexo Shoulder is our first product which enables this mission. Agadexo is the first smart exoskeleton based on a semi-active technology with integrated artificial intelligence, capable of automatically recognizing and assisting picking activities. Designed to relieve the burden from shoulders during manual material handling tasks reducing the risk of musculoskeletal disorders and occupational injuries, Agadexo is tailored for lifting, carrying and lowering tasks within the upper body range, from the hip, up to head level, that are typical of the industrial fields such as manufacturing, automotive, retailing and logistics.
