Role Description
PredictiveIQ is seeking a Project Manager to lead execution of a fast-paced defense software program supporting Vehicle Health Management System (VHMS) capabilities. This role will own program planning, schedule management, customer coordination, subcontractor coordination, risk management, milestone tracking, and delivery governance across a multi-party technical team. The Project Manager will serve as the primary execution lead inside PredictiveIQ and will help ensure that technical work, reporting, reviews, and contractual deliverables are completed on time and at high quality.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead day-to-day execution of company projects.
- Build and maintain the integrated master schedule, action-item tracker, risk register, and milestone plan.
- Prepare for and run internal execution meetings, weekly Technical Interchange Meetings, milestone reviews, and management-status reviews.
- Coordinate closely with technical staff, executive leadership, partners, and customer stakeholders to align priorities, dependencies, and decisions.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering, computer science, systems engineering, program management, or a related technical field.
- 5+ years of experience in technical project or program management.
- Experience managing software, systems integration, or defense engineering efforts with multiple stakeholders.
- Strong command of schedule management, risk management, milestone planning, and technical reporting.
- Ability to work effectively with engineers while also communicating clearly with executives, customers, and partners.
- Experience using structured PM tools for schedules, actions, issues, and document tracking.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with DoD contracts, subcontract execution, CDRLs/SDRLs, or similar formal deliverable structures.
- Familiarity with ground vehicle systems, sustainment systems, IVHM/VHMS, or maintenance-support systems.
- PMP, PMI-ACP, or equivalent certification.
- Experience on programs involving software verification, qualification testing, or system integration.
- Military experience (Officer/NCO/maintenance leader) with exposure to fleet operations, sustainment, or logistics systems.
Ideal Candidate Profile
This person is organized, technically credible, calm under schedule pressure, and able to keep a mixed AI/systems/software team aligned. They do not need to be the deepest engineer on the program, but they do need enough technical fluency to manage interfaces, risks, reviews, and deliverables intelligently.
