Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced SQA Lead to oversee the testing and quality assurance processes for our software products. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in manual and automated testing, strong analytical skills, and the ability to lead a small QA team to ensure product quality and reliability.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the QA team through the entire testing lifecycle — from planning and execution to reporting and closure.

• Develop, maintain, and execute test plans , test cases , and test scripts for web, mobile, and API-based applications.

• Coordinate with development and product teams to identify and resolve defects early in the cycle.

• Implement and manage automation frameworks using tools such as Selenium, Cypress, or equivalent.

• Conduct regression, integration, and performance testing .

• Track and manage defects using tools like JIRA , Bugzilla , or Azure DevOps .

• Define and monitor QA metrics to ensure continuous improvement in product quality.

• Mentor junior QA engineers and promote best practices in testing and quality assurance.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.

• 4–5 years of experience in software testing, with at least 1–2 years in a lead role .

• Strong knowledge of manual testing concepts , SDLC , and STLC .

• Hands-on experience in test automation tools (e.g., Selenium, TestNG, Cypress, Postman).

• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and version control systems (Git, Jenkins, etc.).

• Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.

Good to Have:

• Experience with API testing using Postman or REST Assured.

• Knowledge of performance testing tools like JMeter or LoadRunner.

• Exposure to Agile/Scrum methodologies.

• ISTQB or equivalent certification.
