Software Engineer – Tools & Automation
Lytx today has over 850,000 drivers worldwide protected by Lytx DriveCam systems installed in their vehicle. As a Software Engineer you will design, develop and test and deploy front-end interfaces, APIs backend systems across a number of programming languages with focus on C# Forms and web services.
You’ll Get To
- Design elegant and efficient solutions and tools to solve complex business problems for our data ingestion and device platform, working cross-functionally in an Agile-driven environment
- Design, develop & maintain manufacturing workflow software, automate deployment
- Work closely with product management to define feature specifications
- Work closely with QA for defining full test coverage and test automation
- Learn and share new technologies, platforms and solutions
- Analyze and evolve existing data ingestion platform and tools to improve efficiency, scalability and security
What You’ll Need
- 3+ years full SDLC experience with C# and the .NET platform, Windows Forms and Console app development
- 3+ years experience in Web development & web services
Minimum Qualifications
- B.S. degree in Computer Science or a related technical field
- 3+ years experience building software solutions using .NET
- Working knowledge of API design and distributed backend systems
Preferred Qualifications
- Knowledge on controlling test equipment: relay, ammeter, RF equipment, voltmeter, servo to name a few
- Understands different communication peripherals: I2C, I2S, PCIe, USB 2.0, LAN, USB, UART to name a few
Nice To Have Skills
- .NET Core, ASP.NET Web API experience
- Javascript frameworks - NodeJs, Angular
- SOAP, WCF
- Experience in Manufacturing test software development
- Experience developing video players
- System integration experience
- Read and understand schematics
