About the Role
Bytemage is searching for a highly motivated Sales Development Representative
(SDR) who understands the startup ecosystem and is excited to work with
founders, early-stage startups, and idea-stage innovators across the US and Europe.
You will be at the front line of our outreach engine, identifying qualified founders,
conducting discovery conversations, driving pipeline generation, and creating
opportunities for the business to grow. This role requires someone with strong
communication skills, resilience, creativity, and a startup mindset.
Key Responsibilities
1. Outreach & Lead Generation
Execute high-volume outbound outreach across email, LinkedIn/other
platforms, and cold calling.
Conduct research to identify potential founders/startups that match
ByteMage’s ICP.
Utilize prospecting tools and manual sourcing to build targeted lead lists.
Personalize messaging based on founder stage, industry, and funding status.
2. Discovery & Qualification
o Conduct first-level discovery calls with founders.
o Assess product idea maturity, funding stage, technical feasibility, and
urgency.
o Identify & Qualify leads before arranging the meetings.
3. Pipeline & CRM Management
o Maintain accurate lead data in CRM (HubSpot/Salesforce).
o Track outreach, follow-ups, and funnel metrics.
o Prepare weekly and monthly performance reports.
4. Collaboration
o Work closely with the Management to:
o Align messaging with campaigns and content.
o Share field insights from founders/market.
o Improve targeted outreach sequences and ICP criteria.
o Support the Management during founder/startup meetings when required.
5. Market Intelligence
o Track startup trends, idea-stage founders, accelerators, and early-stage
ecosystems.
o Identify new communities, groups, events, and incubators to target.
Skills & Qualifications Required
o 1–2 years experience in a tech sales, SDR, BDR, or inside sales role.
o Strong written and verbal communication.
o Understanding of US startup culture, MVPs, funding stages, accelerators.
o Ability to handle founder objections and engage with idea-stage
entrepreneurs.
o Comfortable with cold outreach and high-volume prospecting.
o Basic understanding of MVP development cycles.
Preferred
o Experience selling to US-based clients or startups.
o Familiarity with CRMs.
o Experience generating meetings.
o Fast learner with strong research and analytical skills.
