Identify and assess relevant European R&D funding opportunities.

Support the design and development of proposals for EU programmes (e.g. Horizon Europe).

Coordinate contributions from internal experts and external partners.

Prepare and assist in the full proposal submission process.

Participate in meetings, events and networking activities to identify future collaboration opportunities.

Present ideas and concepts to potential partners when required.

Work with subject-matter experts to translate technical topics into clear and compelling content.

Draft, edit and revise proposal sections, integrating feedback.

Manage priorities and contribute to timely, high-quality submissions.

Help build and maintain relationships with stakeholders and partners to expand AETHON’s network.

What you will bring

Master’s degree or equivalent in Engineering, Data Science, Information Technology or a related field.
1–3 years’ experience in project management, proposal development, or a relevant technical role.
Strong organisational and coordination skills.
Negotiation and stakeholder engagement skills.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
Ability to understand complex technical topics quickly.
Attention to detail and problem-solving mindset.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
Ability to meet deadlines and manage multiple tasks.

What we consider a plus

PhD in a relevant field.
Experience with research as shown by publications in scientific journals.
Experience in proposal development for H2020 / Horizon Europe.
Basic knowledge of project management methodologies (e.g. Agile).
PMP, PRINCE2 or other certifications.
