About the Role
We’re hiring a
Product Manager (Commercialization)
to lead the
U.S. commercialization of Galatek’s portfolio
of laboratory automation and analytical systems. This is a cross-functional product management role focused on
bridging technology readiness and commercial execution
—ensuring that established products are positioned, packaged, and supported for successful adoption by life-science and industrial research organizations.
You’ll work closely with
HQ Product, Sales, Marketing, and Engineering
teams to define product positioning, pricing, and U.S. market adaptation strategies. This role is ideal for someone who combines a
strong life-science background
, solid product management discipline, and a commercial mindset to translate global technologies into local market success.

Portfolio Commercialization:
Serve as the product owner for Galatek’s core hardware, software, and consumable lines within the U.S., ensuring each is market-ready and competitively positioned.
Go-to-Market Strategy:
Develop and execute launch and growth strategies for established products—including pricing, positioning, messaging, and sales enablement materials.
Market Intelligence:
Gather and synthesize feedback from customers, distributors, and the field to guide product improvements, feature prioritization, and roadmap alignment with HQ.
Sales Enablement:
Partner with Sales and Business Development to deliver training, collateral, competitive battlecards, and product value frameworks that support customer acquisition and retention.
Lifecycle Management:
Monitor product performance, margins, and customer satisfaction post-launch; lead product line updates, discontinuation planning, and next-generation transition support.
Cross-Functional Coordination:
Work with Engineering, QA/RA, and Marketing to ensure consistent communication and alignment on product releases, updates, and compliance documentation.
Thought Leadership:
Represent the U.S. product portfolio in conferences, webinars, and customer discussions to strengthen brand credibility and market visibility.
Experience:
6–10+ years in product management, product marketing, or commercialization roles for
scientific instrumentation, laboratory automation, or analytical technologies
.
Life Sciences Background (Critical):
Bachelor’s or advanced degree in biology, chemistry, biotechnology, or a related life-science field. Must understand laboratory workflows, instrumentation use cases, and scientific decision-making.
Commercial Orientation:
Demonstrated ability to translate technical capabilities into differentiated customer value propositions and go-to-market programs.
Strategic Mindset:
Strong analytical and business acumen—comfortable with pricing models, competitive analysis, and product portfolio planning.
Cross-Functional Influence:
Proven success working with global teams across product, engineering, marketing, and sales.
Communication:
Exceptional written and verbal communication skills; able to articulate complex technologies in clear commercial terms.
Travel:
Up to 25% domestic (occasional international travel for HQ alignment or launch events).
