Ensure 24/7 internet connectivity with minimal downtime and immediate response to outages.
Continuously monitor network performance, availability, and bandwidth usage to identify and resolve bottlenecks.
Install, configure, and maintain routers, switches, firewalls, and Wi-Fi access points.
Work closely with ISPs (Internet Service Providers) to escalate and resolve internet-related issues promptly.
Develop and maintain backup connectivity solutions (secondary ISPs, 4G/5G devices, etc.) to minimize disruptions.
Implement robust network security measures including firewalls, VPNs, and access control policies.
Maintain documentation of network infrastructure, configurations, and troubleshooting logs.
Ensure proper access and uptime for internal tools, cloud platforms, and servers used by the development teams.
Provide first-line support for network-related issues raised by employees.
Monitor and manage internal LAN, WAN, and VPN connections for remote teams.
Recommend and implement upgrades for improved speed, reliability, and security.
Qualifications & Skills
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, Networking, or related field.
Proven experience as a Network Administrator, IT Officer, or similar role.
Strong knowledge of networking protocols (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, etc.).
Hands-on experience with Cisco/MikroTik/Juniper devices, firewalls, and VPNs.
Familiarity with cloud networking (AWS, Azure, GCP) is a plus.
Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to work under pressure during outages.
Excellent communication and documentation skills.
Availability for on-call support in case of critical network issues.
