Job Summary:
We are looking for a highly adaptable and innovative professional who can rapidly adopt emerging technologies and develop effective prototypes based on evolving business requirements. The Product Managers of TE PLE Software are responsible for transforming existing Software Engineering ecosystems and applications to adapt to "Modern Ways of Engineering" for the Global Siemens Healthineers Organization and you as a Lead Engineer, will play a key role working with them in evaluating, prototyping and customizing the solutions to meet the needs of global business lines that accelerates productivity and caters business efficiency. This role demands a proactive mindset, technical versatility, and the ability to translate complex requirements into functional solutions. You will leverage modern engineering practices to drive software transformation, improve team productivity, and accelerate time-to-patient across all stages (Plan, Code, Build, Test, Release, Deploy, Operate & Monitor) of software & system development.
Key Responsibilities:
- Quickly adapt to emerging technologies and develop proof of concepts (POCs) based on project needs
- Mentor and guide a team of developers, fostering a culture of collaboration, innovation, and continuous improvement.
- Participate in technical design discussions, sprint planning, and code reviews to drive team productivity and technical excellence.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business goals and deliver solutions aligned with organizational strategy.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- 10+ years of hands-on experience in software development, with at least 4 years in a technical leadership role.
- Strong proficiency in modern programming languages and frameworks (e.g., C#, Angular, Python, JavaScript, .NET).
- Proven hands-on experience with Azure DevOps and Azure Cloud Infrastructure.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and a deep understanding of system design and architecture.
- Exceptional communication and leadership skills, with the ability to influence and inspire others.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Strong adaptability to emerging technologies and the ability to create effective proof of concepts (POCs).
- Expertise in requirement engineering and execution to drive alignment and secure customer buy-in.
