Responsibilities

• Designs, code tests and implements application systems to meet management objectives
• Keep supervisors informed about issues and status of the work
• Provide timely and accurate information to external and internal customers
• Ensure adherence to standards, and help develop policies and development guidelines
• Capability of problem solving - Anticipating, initiating and resolving general technical and functionality issues.
• Periodic off-hours support for deployments/critical issues

Required skills

• Strong knowledge and experience of Java, J2EE and Spring/Spring Boot/Vaadin
• Strong object-oriented programming and design skills
• Must have hands on experience in writing complex backend code
• Knowledge of Networking domain would be added advantage
• X509 Certificate and related knowledge would be an asset
• Knowledge of Maven, junit, python, docker would be an added advantage
• Should be able to learn other programming languages/technologies easily
• Creates and contribute to technical specification documentation of development projects
• Must have experience with source code management tools
• Knowledge of SDLC.
