We are seeking a dynamic and up and coming Human Resources Manager to build and lead the HR function across our maritime UK Production facility and UK/EU located roles. In this role, you will also co-design, develop, and execute the local HR strategy in alignment with SYOS' business objectives and global HR framework. You will be a crucial partner to the relevant Leadership Team, responsible for ensuring an engaged, high-performing workforce that supports the efficient and compliant operation of our production facilities. You will be strategic and hands-on, and both a seasoned generalist and a proactive builder who thrives in a dynamic high-growth environment.

Key Responsibilities

What You'll Bring

10+ years of progressive HR experience, including 3-5 years as an HR Manager or equivalent.
Proven HR leadership within a fast-paced manufacturing, production, or engineering environment involving high-volume recruitment (demonstrable knowledge or experience of EU employment law and country-specific HR practices is an advantage).
Expert-level knowledge of UK employment law and best practice, especially in a production setting.
Strong strategic business acumen and the ability to translate needs into effective HR solutions.
Exceptional influencing, negotiation, and senior-level communication skills.
Proficiency with HRIS platforms and data analytics.
CIPD Level 7 is highly desirable.

This position is based in our Fareham, UK facility and doesn't support hybrid or remote work at this stage.
