About Us Position Overview We are seeking a seasoned and strategic Head of Project Management to lead and scale PhaseV's global project management organization. This leader will own the delivery excellence of our partnerships with biotech, CRO, and pharma clients, ensuring smooth execution across multiple scientific, technical, and operational workstreams.

You will define the project management function as a strategic growth engine—aligning cross-functional efforts from formation through delivery, and shaping how PhaseV engages, executes, and expands with customers across all programs.

This is a critical leadership role for a proactive, highly organized, and scientifically fluent professional who can balance strategic oversight with hands-on leadership in a rapidly scaling environment.

Key Responsibilities Strategic Leadership & Scale

• Build, lead, and work with high-performing global teams to support growing projects across biotech, pharma, and CRO clients.
• Define and institutionalize PhaseV's project management framework—governance, tools, templates, and best practices—to ensure scalable delivery.
• Partner closely with the executive team to align project operations with company strategy, capacity, and commercial goals.
• Work closely with Alliance management and business development to support GTM

Project Delivery & Execution Excellence

• Oversee the execution of complex, multi-disciplinary projects, ensuring scientific, technical, and operational alignment internally and externally.
• Establish and monitor delivery KPIs across scope, quality, budget, and timeline. Proactively identify risks, escalation paths, and corrective actions.
• Serve as executive sponsor for strategic engagements execution, driving success metrics and partner satisfaction.

Cross-Functional Alignment

• Bridge commercial (BD), scientific, and technical teams, ensuring seamless handoffs from sales to delivery and consistent client experience.
• Collaborate with Product, engineering, and Data Science teams to translate client goals into actionable project scopes and deliverables.
• Synthesize project feedback into operational and product insights to drive continuous improvement.

Client Growth & Relationship Management

• Act as a senior counterpart to external stakeholders, supporting expansion efforts, renewals, and "land & expand" strategies with enterprise clients alongside Alliance management.
• Lead creation of project execution materials, deliverables, and documentation templates to elevate professionalism and consistency.

Minimum Qualifications

• 8+ years of experience in project or program management in life sciences or tech, with at least 3 years in a leadership or organizational build-out role.
• Proven success leading cross-functional teams across science, data, and technology.
• Strong scientific or technical background (PhD, MD or equivalent experience strongly preferred).
• Exceptional communication and stakeholder management skills—able to translate complex scientific concepts into actionable operational plans.
• Demonstrated ability to thrive in high-growth, fast-paced startup environments.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience managing client engagements in clinical development, biostatistics, or AI/ML-driven drug development.
• Familiarity with clinical trials, causal inference, and Bayesian modeling is a plus.
• Background working with enterprise clients (biotech, CROs, Big Pharma).
• Track record of implementing scalable systems and operational excellence frameworks.
