About the Role

As Director of Engineering, you will serve as both a strategic and operational leader in launching Invisible’s first engineering hub in Poland. Your responsibilities will include:

What We Need

• 10+ years in software engineering with at least 5 years in a senior leadership role
• Experience setting up and scaling a new engineering office or hub, ideally in a global or remote-first company
• Demonstrated ability to build and manage high-performing, multidisciplinary teams
• Deep local knowledge of the Polish tech market, universities, talent pools, and community dynamics
• Exemplary communication skills, with experience collaborating across functions and time zones
• A technically credible leader with a proven track record of technical delivery and strategic influence
• Comfortable working in a hybrid role balancing team leadership, site operations, and active technical engagement
