Job Summary

We are looking for a skilled Cloud & Infrastructure Engineer with strong experience in Microsoft Azure and solid background in on-premises infrastructure. This role is ideal for someone who can operate across hybrid environments, manage core infrastructure components and support both cloud and traditional workloads. You will be involved in deploying, maintaining and optimizing infrastructure solutions across multiple environments.

Key Responsibilities

Design, deploy and manage Azure-based infrastructure solutions
Administer and maintain virtual machines, storage, networking and identity services in Azure
Support and maintain on-premises infrastructure environments
Manage and troubleshoot virtualization platforms (VMware, Hyper-V, etc.)
Administer Microsoft Exchange (on-premises and Exchange Online)
Implement and maintain monitoring and alerting solutions (cloud and on-prem)
Perform incident response, troubleshooting, and root cause analysis
Assist with hybrid infrastructure setups (Azure + on-prem integration)
Maintain documentation and follow operational best practices

Required Skills & Experience

Core (Must Have)

Strong experience with Microsoft Azure elements(compute, networking, storage, IAM)
Solid understanding of on-prem infrastructure components
Experience with basic infrastructure technologies(AD, DNS, DHCP, GPO)
Hands-on experience with virtualization platforms (VMware vSphere / ESXi/Hyper-V)
Experience with Microsoft Exchange - Exchange Server (on-prem)/Exchange Online (Microsoft 365)
Experience with monitoring tools, such as Azure Monitor / Log Analytics and System Center (SCCM / SCOM) or similar
Basic to intermediate knowledge of core networking elements - TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP,VPNs, firewalls, routing basics

Nice to Have

Experience with hybrid environments (Azure Arc, AD Connect)
Familiarity with automation / scripting (PowerShell preferred)
Experience with containers (Docker, K8S)
Experience with Linux distros is welcomed
Knowledge of security best practices in Azure
Certifications (AZ-104, MS-102, VMware VCP, etc.)

Hands-on, practical experience (not just theoretical)
