Thera4Care is a European initiative established by scientists, healthcare professionals, and industry experts to transform cancer treatment through radiotheranostics. They aim to bridge the gap between science and clinical practice, making personalized cancer care accessible. The project focuses on diagnostic innovation for early cancer detection and therapeutic precision for tailored treatments, leveraging data science and AI for improved decision-making. Thera4Care also emphasizes building a sustainable supply chain for radiotheranostic resources and providing knowledge sharing and training for healthcare professionals. The initiative involves a diverse alliance of 29 partners, including universities, research institutions, and industry leaders, coordinated by Università Cattolica del Sacro Cuore, Policlinico Universitario Fondazione Agostino Gemelli, GE Healthcare, and Essen University Hospital. The project aims to enhance treatment availability, strengthen European healthcare resilience, and improve cancer outcomes, particularly for challenging cancers like sarcoma, glioblastoma, ovarian, pancreatic, and neuroendocrine carcinomas.
